Why do people visit your website?  

The obvious reason is because they want to find out more about you.  And so a lot of health coaches load their website with copy that talks all about them.  

And that brings me to Health Coach Website Mistake #5…

The Home page focuses on the coach 

Yes, it’s true that your website visitor wants to find out more about the coach.  But they’re looking at the coach through the lens of their own problem.

That means your website, and especially the Home page, isn’t really about you.  It’s about your site visitor.

So take a look at what you have on your Home page now.  Does it focus on your visitor and how they will benefit from working with you?  Or does it focus on you?  

Look at the places where you use the word “I” or “we.”  See if you can change those to be about your site visitor instead.

Of course, when you’re introducing yourself, you can talk about you.  But even there you can make the messaging about your future client!
